C. Hernandez Studio is a knitwear development and production consultancy led by Cristina Hernandez. Cristina founded the studio to bridge the gap between vision and production. Her background blends rigorous technical skill with an educator’s spirit, making garment creation clear, achievable, and kind to resources.

We support emerging and established brands through every step of the sweater development process. Our services include concept research, design, development, cut and sew and full fashion knits, 3D design, tech packs, vendor communication, and production management.

Cristina’s experience spans design and product development for companies producing across the US, China, and Peru. She brings hands-on knowledge, clear communication, and practical systems to help teams grow with intention.

In addition to client work, Cristina teaches apparel teams and freelancers through workshops and guest speaking. Topics include knitwear basics, 3D tools, sourcing strategy, and cost planning, with recent sessions hosted by Freelancer’s Union and Custom Collaborative.
